How to Add a Bonspiel

1 Navigate to your Club Dashboard

From the main menu, go to your club's profile. Once there, locate the "Leagues & Bonspiels" section and click the "Add New Bonspiel" button.

2 Basic Information

Fill out the general details for your bonspiel:

• Bonspiel Name: The display name of your bonspiel (e.g., "Spring Fling Spiel").
• Profile Name (Handle): A short, unique identifier used in URLs (e.g., "spring-fling"). It must be lowercase and contain no spaces.
• Bonspiel Description: A brief summary of the bonspiel's format, rules, or target audience.

3 Contact Details

Provide the contact information for the bonspiel manager or primary contact person. This includes their Name, Email, and Phone number.

4 Ice Sheets

Configure the sheets available for this bonspiel:

• Number of sheets: How many sheets will be used for the event.
• Sheet naming: Choose how sheets are labeled (Alphabetic like A, B, C or Numeric like 1, 2, 3), or enter them manually.

5 Schedule & Scoring

Set up when the bonspiel is played and how it is scored:

• Schedule: Select the days of the week and enter the draw times (e.g., "6:00 PM", "8:15 PM").
• Scoring System: Choose between Box Bonus Scoring, Points per Box, or No Scoring.
• Scheduling Rules: Configure advanced rules like minimizing sheet repeats or balancing early/late draws for teams.

6 Bonspiel Managers

Assign one or more administrators for this bonspiel by entering their email addresses. They will receive privileges to manage schedules and teams.
